HINCKS, MARY CAROLYN (BETTS) - 70, of Haliburton, Ontario and formerly of Riverview, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Haliburton Hospital after a lengthy battle with COPD. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Barbara (Weatherston) Betts. Survived by husband, John; son, Jeffrey; stepson, David; stepdaughter, Janet; grandchildren, Taylor, Crystal and Ashley; brothers, Robert (Moncton), David (Newmarket, Ontario) and Don (Carbon, Alberta); aunts, Helen Gillis (Fredericton) and Mildred Outhit (Moncton). Fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gordon Betts. Friends and family will be gathering to remember Mary at the Ingoldsby United Church, Ingoldsby, Ontario on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 12:00 noon.
