RITA (CORMIER) LEGER
LEGER, RITA (CORMIER) - 1920-2009 - Rita Leger, 89, of Dieppe passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and the late Elmire (née: Allain) LeBlanc. She was a department supervisor at Zeller's for over 22 years and a parishioner of Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by one son, Joseph "Joe" (Bernice T.) Cormier of Dieppe; one daughter-in-law, Yvonne Cormier of Moncton; one sister, Maria (Emile) Hébert of Moncton; four brothers, Gerard (Marina) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Edouard (Pauline) LeBlanc of Cocagne, Joseph (Madeleine) LeBlanc and Blair LeBlanc both of Moncton; seven grandchildren: Josette, Charlotte, Kim, Charline, Michel, Shelly and Tyler; nine great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Joseph Cormier in 1942 and by her 2nd husband, Albert Leger in 1998; one son, Roger; one sister, Stella; three brothers, Yvon, Leo and Lionel and also by one granddaughter, Rita. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
