POIRIER, LILLIAN - Lillian Poirier, 95, wife of the late Edgar Poirier formerly of Pointe du Chêne passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born July 20, 1914 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Henrietta Marie (Gauvin) MacArthur. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Keith of Shediac and Barbara Poirier of Boudreau Ouest; one son, Robert "Bob" (Rachel) of Shediac; two sisters, Ruth Anderson and Louise Thompson both of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Elaine Henderson (Scott), Derek Gagnon, Tina Dandurand (Mike), Shelley MacDonald (Gordon), Randy Gagnon (Tanya Gallant), Mathieu and Jeremie Poirier; nine great grandchildren, Caitlin, Kyle, Ryan, Jenna, Mario, Kaya, Maddison, Mekenzie and Kaden; and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Edgar (1996), she is also predeceased by four sisters, Florence, Margaret, Patricia and Doris; and by two brothers, Percy and James MacArthur. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Mains St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday, from 9:30 am until time of departure 10:20 am. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Pointe du Chêne on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery, Shediac.
