BASTARACHE, STELLA - 1953 - 2009 Stella Bastarache, 56 of Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche has passed away suddenly at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, October 1st, 2009. Born in Bouctouche on July 27th, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Adelard and the late Zella (Despres) Cormier. Stella spent most of her working life as a waitress both in Kent co. and the United States. She leaves to mourn her step-father, Donald Boudreau of Saint-Antoine; her common-law husband, Jeff LeBlanc; her two sons, Marc Bastarache (Shirley Guimond) of Memramcook, Chris Bastarache (Sylvie Carrrière) of Dieppe, their father, Robert Bastarache of Cocagne; three step-daughters, Nicole Smook (Terry) of Fredericton, Lise LeBlanc (Gilles) of Cape-Pelé, Nadine Jaillet (Jean-Marc) of Bouctouche; six grandchildren, Janelle, James, Meagan, Jenna, Yann, Malek; three sisters, Rina Cormier-Thibodeau (Francis), Joanne Gautreau (Emile) both of Moncton, Dorine Boudreau (Michael) of Riverview; three brothers, Rheo Cormier, Adelard Cormier both of Moncton, André Boudreau of Shediac, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Cormier. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Monday, October 5th from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
