BANTING, KARLA J. - Karla J. Banting, of Riverview, with her loving family and friends at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Ken and Dorothy (Shene) Hardy of Moncton. Karla loved music, reading, quilting, knitting and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Karla will be sadly missed by her husband, Robin C. Banting; by her loving and faithful dog, "Morgan, my sweet girl"; brother, Doug Hardy (Anne), Kansas; sisters, Karen Somers (Bill) and Krista Wood (Chris), both of Massachusetts; nephew, Alex; nieces, Lori, Erica, Sarah, Lia and Elena. In keeping with Karla's wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, Saturday, October 10, 2009, 2:00 pm, Rev. Gary Cowper officiating.
