HOLLERAN, BARBARA JEAN - Barbara Jean Holleran of Lower Coverdale passed away at the age of 72 at the Moncton Hospital on Thurday, October 8, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late James Moorehouse and Gladys (Duncan) (Burt Stephens). Barb retired as the secretary at the Lower Coverdale Baptist Church in 2002 after serving for 18 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Edward of 46 years; her daughter, Heather Howe (Aaron), of Lower Coverdale; two sons, Darrell (Amber), Paul (Krista) of Riverview; grandchildren, Samantha, Chelsy, Liam and Connor Holleran, Ben and Hannah Howe; brother, Danny (Kathy) Stephens, of Calgary, AB; sisters-in-law, Gertrude (Leo Feeney), Mona (Gilbert White), Lois (late Edward Keenen) and Rita (Denis Richardson); brothers-in-law, the late Francis Holleran (Mary), Laurence (Mary Ellen), Joseph (Joyce), Charles (Diana), Arthur (Cindy) and Walter (Suzanne), as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, 869-2007, on Saturday, October 10, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Lower Coverdale United Baptist Church on Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ken Rains officiating. Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Oncology Dept. or the Lower Coverdale United Baptist Church, would be appreciated by the family.
