MELANSON, WILLIAM J. SR - William J. Melanson Sr of Memramcook passed away on October 11, 2009 at his residence at the age of 60. Born on October 22, 1948 in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Fred Melanson and Therese Bourgeois. He is survived by his mother, Therese (Pierre Belliveau) Melanson of St-Joseph; one daughter, Anne-Marie and one son, William Jr both of Ontario; two sisters, Alfreda and Jeanne both of Moncton; four grandchildren, and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Fred. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Tuesday, October 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no funeral mass by request of the deceased. Interment will be held in the St-Jacques du Majeur parish cemetery, Scoudouc.
