EMILE SAVOIE
SAVOIE, EMILE - 1915 - 2009 - Emile Savoie of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 11th, 2009. Born in St. Maurice, NB, September 11th, 1915, he was the son of the late Maxiam and Emilliene (Bastarache) Savoie. Emile attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and retired following many years as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife Teresa (Murphy) Savoie; daughter, Anna Irving (late Lawrence); son, Ron Savoie (Wendy); grandchildren, Samantha and Danielle; brothers, Edgar, Rene, Paul all of Montreal, Fred, Shediac, Aldric, Bouctouche, Roger, St. Thomas, Kent Co.; sisters, Helen LeBlanc, Moncton, Marie Paquette Montreal, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Sylvan, and sisters, Rhea, Imelda, Jeannette, Anne. With respect to his wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October15th, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Father Bernard Sloan officiating. Reception following the service in the Garden View Room of the funeral home. Interment in St. Peters Cemetery, South Branch at a later date.
