CAISSIE, SARAH - 85, of Villa Providence, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the Villa Providence. Born on May 4, 1924 in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Amanda (Goguen) Cormier. She is survived by one daughter, Noella Snyder (John) of Riverview; three sons, Normand (Linda) of Dieppe, Ronald (Linda) of Cap-Pelé and Donald of Moncton; one brother, Laurie Cormier (Patsy) of Cocagne; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph and one daughter, Georgina. The family will receive condolences at Frenette's Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our-Lady-of-Assumption Cathedral on Friday, October 16 at 11 am. Interment will be in St-Pierre R.C. Cemetery, Cocagne.
