CARR, LEO JOHN - 79, of Petitcodiac passed away Sunday October 18, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Harewood he was a son of the late John and Lena (Fawcett) Carr. Leo retired from Apex Industries and enjoyed going to the local music events. He attended Full Gospel Assembly in Killams Mills. Survived by his sons, Dale (Linda) of Harewood, Mervyn (Bonnie) of Alward Road, Rev. Fred (Barb) of Liverpool N.S.; grandchildren, Christopher (Holly), Ryan, Michael (Chrissy), Maryann (Nate), Jonathan (Anna), Tara (Nick), Kaylee and Andrew; great grandchildren, Bradley, Emily, Colin and Morgan. Survived also by brothers, Ronald (Sharon), Everett (Joyce); a sister, Hope Malloy (Gary), sisters in law, Eileen and Yvonne; a special friend, Christena Black and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Reta (Herrington); brothers, Alfred, Wilmer and Paul; and a sister, Hilda. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be Tuesday, October 20 at 2 pm with Pastor Rose Marie Holmes officiating.
