SERVANT, JOSEPH "JOE" - 1924-2009 - Joseph " Joe " Servant, 85, of Bouctouche Bay, has passed away on Sunday, October 18th, 2009 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent after a lengthy illness. Married to Andréa (Bernard) Servant, he was born in Sainte-Anne de Monts, Québec on March 30th, 1924 to the late Nicolas and the late Albertine (Levesque) Servant. Joe worked for approximately 33 years for the Montreal Press Club. He is survived by his wife Andréa (Bernard) Servant; three daughters, Nicole Young (Ross) of Edmonton, AB., Huguette Meade of Halifax, Josette Servant (André) of Montreal; three sons, Jean (Suzanne), Michel (Manon) both of Montreal, Marco (Pauline) of Bouctouche, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by four sisters, and two brothers. At the request of Joe there will be no visit at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
