ARMSTRONG, WILLIAM (BILL) DONALD - 77, of McAdam and formerly of Steeves Mountain passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Bill, born August 24, 1932 in Saint John, was a son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Pitt) Armstrong. He was a retired truck driver. Bill was an avid woodworker and he loved animals. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Marilyn (Johnson); daughters, Judy Armstrong of Fredericton, Kim Young (Bob) of McAdam; son, David (Alanna) of Riverview; three cherished grandchildren, Melissia Armstrong (Craig), Justin and Brittany Young. Also survived by sister, Alleyne Miller of Saint John; brothers, Kenneth (Janice) of Grand Manan and Robert of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Bill is predeceased by brother, Douglas; sisters, Evelyn Armstrong and Audrey Duke. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday 6 to 9 pm and from where the funeral will be held Thursday, October 29 at 2 pm with Linda Harper officiating.
