GALLANT, MORIL - Moril Gallant, 63, of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born March 6, 1946 in Robichaud, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bertha (Cormier) Gallant. Moril will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years Jocelyne (Léger); daughter, Renelle Gallant (Sam LeBlanc); and his precious grand-daughter, Anabelle of Trois-Ruisseaux. Moril is also survived by three brothers, Paul (Alice) of Saint-John, Clarence and George (Denise) both of Grand-Barachois; four sisters, Delcia McArdle (late Harry) of Oshawa, ON, Flo Martin (Tony) of Shediac, Gemma Osborne (Bob) of Fenwick, ON and Diane Léger (Donald) of Grand-Barachois and by many nephews, nieces and friends. Moril is predeceased by his son, Jason (August 18, 2008); brother, Léandre; and sister, Agnes. Well known in his community and surroundings, Moril was the Manager of Marquis Landscaping of Grand-Barachois. Although he was devoted at work, he could always manage time and be faithful to his family. He was very active and enjoyed bowling and playing darts and was a former long time member of the Cap-Pele Lions Club. He had a passion for cards and all sorts of family games. But first and foremost, he enjoyed spending precious time with his grand-daughter, Anabelle that he loved so much. The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap- Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, from 9:30 am until time of departure at 10:20 am. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
