SMITH-TINGLEY, MARGUERITE - 1917 - 2009 - Marguerite Smith-Tingley passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Parkindale, a daughter of the late James and Bessy (Colpitts) Prosser. Margie enjoyed her career at Zellers until retirement in 1978. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother to her family and friends, remaining in her own home until recently. She will be sadly missed by her son, Allen (Cheri) Smith of Lower Coverdale, her daughter Judy (Allan) Garland of Riverview; five grandchildren Carl (Ann) Ross of Atlanta GA., Shane (Beth) Ross of Charlottetown, Robyn (Ian) Murray of Dartmouth, Craig (Cindy) Smith of Sackville and Stacey (Garnett) Fulton of Chipman, as well as 12 great grandchildren; and two step sons, Bob (Mary) and Brian (Sue) Tingley. She is also survived by her brother Ralph (Elsie) Prosser of Riverview and her sister, Doris Crawford of Kingston, ON and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her husbands, Gordon Smith, David Wilson and Harold Tingley, four sisters and four brothers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, November 18th at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Marguerite's memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital "Angel Fund" or a charity of the donor's choice.
