SAVAGE, FREDERICK E. - Frederick E. Savage, husband of Clare Savage (nee Kenna) of Russellville passed away on Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the age of 80. Born in Russellville, he was the son of the late Sydney and Charlotte (Arseneau) Savage. Freddy was retired from the Department of Highways where he worked for 30 years. He was an adherent of St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Bartibog Bridge. Besides his wife, Freddy is survived by his four sisters; Celia Anderson (Abbie), Margaret Lyons (George), Rita Patterson (Elmer) and Francis Kenny (Wallace), one brother; Bernard Savage (Stella) and special niece Diane Trevors (nee Savage) and numerous other nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. He is predeceased by his two sisters; Kathleen (Kay) Savage and Rosie Kingston (Don) and one brother; James Savage (killed in World War II). Visitation will be held from Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB on Saturday, November 28th from 7 to 9 and on Sunday, November 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 30th at 2pm from St. Peter & Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Bartibog Bridge with Fr Allison Mahoney officiating.
