GERALD LEBLANC

LEBLANC, GERALD - 1928 - 2009 Gerald LeBlanc, 81 of Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche, husband of Louise (Breau) LeBlanc, has passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, November 29th, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Paul on January 1st, 1928, he was the son of the late Denis and the late Marie-Rose (Goguen) LeBlanc. He was a crane operator with Modern Paving for several years, and a pole digger with NB Power. He leaves to mourn him, his wife Louise, his eleven children, Paulette Steeves (Philip) of Wilmot, NS, Jeannelle LeBlanc of Bouctouche, Félice LeBlanc of Memramcook, Joanne LeBlanc (Eugène) of Notre-Dame, Maurice (Andréa), Charles (Nathalie) both of Dieppe, Vincent (Yvonne) of Saint-Louis de Kent, Bernard (Anita) of Main River, Raymond (Angella) of Rexton, André (Sylvie) of Bathurst, Guy of Cranbrook, BC, twenty two grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Denise Thellab (Albert), and sister Edith LeBlanc ndsc, both of Moncton, two brothers, Father Fidèle LeBlanc of Richiboucto, and Roger of Bouctouche, and also several nephews and nieces. Gerald was predeceased by five sisters, Lorette, Maria, Agatha, Sister Marie Victor, and Lucie, two brothers, Father Arcade, and Victor. At Gerald's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. There will be a reception at the Bouctouche Golden Age Club after the funeral to receive family and friends.
