STEVER, BROTHER GERARD - Brother Gerard Stever (Brother Arnold), a native of Bathurst, has passed away after a car accident, Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Hotel-Dieu hospital, Levis, P.Q. He was 79 years old and had been a Brother of the Sacred Heart for 61 years. In 1965, he was a member of the group of Brothers who founded a school in Melbourne, Australia. He was the son of Joseph Stever and Françoise Chamberland of Bathurst, N.B., both deceased. He will leave grieving his religious Brothers, his nieces and nephews of the Stever, Aubie, Thibault and Dunn families, and many friends. The wake and the funeral mass will be held at the Brothers' residence, Maison de Sainte-Foy, 1400 route de l'Aéroport, Quebec City, Saturday, December 5, at 11 am. Visiting hours, Friday afternoon, December 4, from 14 pm to 17 pm and Friday evening, from 19 pm to 21 pm Saturday morning before the funeral, December 5, from 9 am to 11am. The burial will be held at the Brothers' cemetery. May he rest in peace!
