McKNIGHT, MARY ANN (ANNIE) - 82, of Havelock passed away Thursday December 3, 2009 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Caraquet she was a daughter of the late Felix and Judy (Boucher) Cyr. Raised in the Catholic faith she was a devoted homemaker to her beloved husband, children and grandchildren. Survived by her husband of 62 years Shepherd (Shep); daughters Deborah Parlee of Stony Plain AB, Donna Keith (Dennie) of Salisbury, Marlene Layden of Petitcodiac; her sons Gary (Diana) of Manhurst, Allen (Betty) of Havelock, Jerry (Vicky) of Glenvale, Kevin (Lois) of Petitcodiac, Ronald (Kelly) of Riverview, Brett (Aislynne) of Havelock; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grand- children including a special granddaughter Michelle McKnight and great grandaughter Britney McKnight of Havelock. Survived also by sisters Mamie Gray of Saint John, Irene Tennant (Lloyd) of Palmer Rapids ON; brothers Ivan Cyr (Ethel) of Belleisle Creek, Max Cyr (Audrey) of Hanover ON, Benny Cyr (Judy) of Courtice ON, Brian Cyr (Janice) of Riverglade; sisters in law Laura Cyr of Whitby ON, Millie Cyr of Sunderland ON, Louise Cyr of Saint John and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughters Laura Leah McKnight (1982), Sharon McKnight (1982), son Darren (1967), daughter in law Juanita McKnight, son in law Gerry Layden, sisters Anita Jack and Christine Cyr, brothers Wilfred, Louis, Alier, John and Paul Cyr, brothers in law Fred Gray and Robert Jack. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Sunday 2-5 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday December 7 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac.
