DOIRON, MATHIEU - 1927 - 2009 - Mathieu Doiron, 82 of Bouctouche has passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Monday December 7th, 2009. He was married to Emma Hébert. Born in Grand Falls on March 7, 1927, he was the son of the late John and the late Emilie (Bastarache) Doiron. He was a machine operator for Moncton Foundry for numerous years. He leaves to mourn, his wife Emma (Hébert) Doiron; six sisters, Eva LeBlanc (Henry) of Lindsay, ON, Claire Beaulieu of Saint-Léonard-Parent, Wilda Gagnon (Germain), Zella Fife both of Edmunston, Patricia Gagnon (Gerald) of Grand Falls, Audrey Sirois of Saint-André; one brother Laurie of Edmunston, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three sisters, Irène, Doris, Alice and one brother Rhéo. Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche on Wednesday, December 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Thursday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 10th, 2009 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Mathieu's memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation.
