CORMIER, JEAN-PAUL - Jean-Paul Cormier, 81, of O'Bons Soins, Shediac passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 following at brief illness. Born in Shediac on October 1, 1928, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Élise (McGraw) Cormier. Prior to his retirement, he worked in Kitchener, ON as a building superintendent for 20 years. He is survived by two sisters: Alma Landry (Donald) of Shediac, Marianne Gionet (Martin) of Saint John; and by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters: Corinne and Rita and by four brothers: Joseph, Henri, Léonce and Gérard. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, from 9:30 am until time of departure at 10:20 am. Funeral mass will held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
