HOUSER, HAROLD E. (DICK) - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Edwin (Dick) Houser, on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 at The Moncton Hospital. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elizabeth (Hodgson); son Richard (Brenda) of Moncton; brother Orville (Aase) Houser of Wheatley, Ont; sister Martha (David) Green of Dunnville, Ont; three grandchildren, Katherine, William and Alyson and several nieces and nephews. Harold was the son of the late Roy E. and Katherine (Heinmiller) Houser of Lowbanks, Ont. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by his brother William and sister Rita. Harold graduated from the Air Observer School, RCAF, in Winnipeg, Manitoba and served as a Navigator with the RCAF for eight years. He graduated from York University in Toronto and worked for CP Transport for 20 years before retiring from the Commissionnaires Corps in 2002 . By Harold's request there will be no visitations. A private family Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Memorial donations be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
