DUFFIELD, GEORGE (BUD) S. - 1935-2009 - George Duffield of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 21st, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Born in Moncton on May 7th, 1935, he was the son of the late George Duffield and Edna Dobson {(nee Lewis) Duffield}. He spent 5 years in the Navy, Air Branch from 1953-1958. He also worked for Coop Dairies and was one of the founders of Air Cab in 1977. He enjoyed the outdoors activities and spending time at his camp in Coles Island. George is survived by his wife Maxine of 43 years, son; Michael (Pat), daughter; Susan (Marc), sister; Audrey Colpitts (Chesley) of Brockville, Ontario, three grandchildren and by five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and by his special pet; Zack. Bud was predeceased by sisters; Sally Nutter, Agnes Dobson and by his first wife Elizabeth. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Funeral service will take at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 600 Coverdale Road, Riverview on Saturday, December 26th, 2009 at 1 pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating with a reception to follow in the church hall. Donations to any charity would be appreciated by the family.
