SCOTT, HUGH T. - 1931- 2009 - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh T. "Sonny" Scott, 78, who passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 28, 2009 surrounded by his loving family, following a valiant twelve year struggle with COPD. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Robert and Mayme (MacDougall) Scott. Hugh worked for New Method Dry Cleaners for many years and retired while working for School District 15. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and watching sports, but first and foremost, was spending quality time with his family and friends, for 36 years, at the cottage in Pointe du Chene. Hugh will be dearly missed by his wife of 56 years, Marie (Frazee) Scott; daughters, Charlene Bourque (Ivan), Moncton, Brenda Robertson, Dartmouth, NS. He will also be missed by the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Trevor, Tara, Erin, Meghan, Ryan; great grandchildren, Myles and Gabriella; sister, Valerie Bain, Toronto, ON; several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and son-in-law, Peter Robertson. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Meade; stepmother, Jean Scott and half brother, Kendall Scott.
