LALONDE, BARBARA JEAN (HANSEN) - The death of Barbara Jean (Hansen) Lalonde, partner of Anthony Cromwell (A.J.) of Toronto, ON and formerly of Newcastle, NB, occurred on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the age of 49. Born in Newcastle, NB, she is the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Saunders) Hansen. Barbara worked in the accounting office of many businesses over the years. Besides her parents, she is survived by: one sister: Ellen Chisholm (Jim) of Toronto, ON; one brother: Christopher (Jennifer) of Loggieville, NB; nieces and nephews: Krista, Becky, Alex, Jenny and Caleb and several close aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1 pm with Rev. John Fraser officiating. Burial will take place in the Saunders Cemetery later in the spring. In Barbara's memory, donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Saunders Cemetery.
