JOHNSON, OLIVE BERNICE - 1911-2010 - Olive Bernice Johnson passed away on January 5, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 98. Born at The Glades, Westmorland Co., daughter of the late George C. Geldart and Mary O. Graves. She attended Oulton's Business College and worked as a stenographer at Eaton's for many years. She was a member of St. John's United Church and at one time she was a member of the Pearl Rebecca Lodge. She leaves to mourn two sons, Kenneth Grant Johnson (Gillian) of Riverview, Robert Bruce Johnson (Denise) of Boudreau Ouest, NB; a granddaughter, Shelley Lynn Ward (Craig) of Riverview and two great granddaughters, Samantha and Valerie. She also leaves two sisters, Evelyn Adair (Jim) of Petitcodiac, NB and Myrtle Geldart of The Glades and several nieces, nephews and a grand niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald K. Johnson in 1996 and three brothers, Henry, Francis and Walter. In respect with Olive's wishes cremation followed by a private graveside service will be held in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
