ELSIE PROSSER

PROSSER, ELSIE - It is with great sadness and regret that the family of Elsie Prosser (82), of Riverview, announces her passing at the Moncton Hospital following a brief illness, on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Blasdell, New York she was the daughter of the late Foster and Nellie (Thorpe) Sherwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Ralph A. Prosser of Riverview. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn one son Lloyd (Donna) Riverview, and three daughters: Diann Dutcher, Moncton; Phyllis Fullerton (Arthur), Riverview; Debbie London (Larry), Riverview; nine grandchildren: Troy Dutcher, Kim Mann, Liz Hollinger, Todd Prosser, Stacie Johnston, Shawn Fullerton, Kelly O'Brien, Joshua London and Jennifer London; 12 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three sisters: Winnifred Steeves (Leverett); Florence Shaffer; Annie Milton. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Eileen Milton. Elsie was a member of the Whitepine United Baptist Church, and a member of the Frank H. Tingley Chapter OES and will be fondly remembered by her Bridge playing card buddies. The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007), on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, the funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Frank Trail and Rev. Phil Locke officiating, with a reception to follow. The Frank H. Tingley Chapter OES will hold a memorial service Friday evening at 6:45 pm from the funeral home. The interment will be at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Elsie's memory donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Whitepine United Baptist Church Building Fund or the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
