WILSON, ORVILLE V. - Orville V. Wilson, 83, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday January 16, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Bliss and Gladys (Wilbur) Wilson. Orville was retired from the C.N.R. accounting department with approximately 35 years service. He was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, former member of The Moncton Golf and Country Club and The Centennial Lawn Bowling Club. He was a member of the Parkinson Foundation of Canada and thoroughly enjoyed genealogy. Orville will be sadly missed by his brothers, Roscoe (Diane), Moncton; Kenneth (Shirley), Petitcodiac; "special uncle" to nieces and nephew, Brenda Bedard (Bob); Marlene Smith; Christine Wilson, Cheryl Higgins (Rod) and Bruce Wilson (Carla); sister in law, Jackie Wilson, Moncton. In addition to his parents, predeceased by his brother, Clive; sister in law, Dorothy; nephew, Robert. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday, January 21, 2010, 1:00 pm. Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
