GEORGE D. LEBLANC
LEBLANC, GEORGE D. - 1943-2010 - George LeBlanc, 66, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, January 19th 2010, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Memramcook "Au Lac", NB, he was the son of Aurèle and the late Dora (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was best known for being a musician and hosting George's Country Jamboree. Besides his father, Aurèle of Memramcook, he is survived by his wife, Nora Delaney; one brother, Bob (Bertha Arseneau) of Dieppe; one niece, Nadine; one nephew, Stefan; one uncle, Valérie (Jeannine) Boudreau of Dieppe; two aunts: Marguerite (late Léo) Richard of Moncton and Antoinette (Eric) Redmond of Shediac and also by several cousins and friends. Besides his mother, he was also pre-deceased by two brothers: Guy and Paul. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901), on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated from Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Monday, January 25th 2010, at 11 am. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
