BABINEAU, LORRAINE - 1929-2010 - Lorraine Babineau passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Dr. Georges L.-Dumont Hospital. Born in Little Aldouane, daughter of the late Alex and Elmina (Maillet) Daigle. Lorraine was a member of the Golden Age Club, Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary and the Christian Women Movement. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Saint Henri Elementary and Beauséjour Junior High Schools. Before retiring she worked fulltime at the Harrison Trimble High School in the Cafeteria. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years, Euclide, three sons; Ronald (Yvette) of Moncton, Paul (Lisette) of Moncton, Michel (Lyne) of Ottawa, five grandchildren; Christian, Gilles, Denis, Mathieu and Kassiane. She is also survived by one brother, Yvon, two sisters, Prescille Robichaud, Yvonne Langis and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by two infant sons, five brothers, Alphonse, Alcide, Edouard, Alex and Fidèle. A funeral service will be held at Notre Dame RC Church on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Church Hall. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
