LeBRETON, WILLIAM A. - 1921-2010 - Miramichi - William Alexander LeBreton, husband of Jacky LeBreton, of Wellington St., Miramichi, passed away at his residence on Monday, February 1, 2010, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 89. Born in Fredericton, on January 27, 1921, he was the son of the late Alexander and Freda (Ashford) LeBreton. He was a self employed businessman and owner / operator of LeBreton Scrap Metals Ltd. He was an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Jacqueline Berlinguette; one step daughter, Shirley LeBlanc (Tim Moar), of Salisbury; two step sons, Steven LeBlanc (Joy Cole), of Escuminac and Kevin LeBlanc (Holly), of Ottawa, Ont.; two sisters, May Losier and Marion Moore, both of Miramichi; two sisters in law, Sylvia LeBreton, of Moncton and Edith LeBreton, of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Thomas and Lucas. he was predeceased by three brothers, George, Alexander and Raymond. Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Tuesday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi, on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire MacKnight. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Andrews United Church, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
