BOWNESS, ALAN - Alan Clarke Bowness, passed away suddenly at the St. John Regional Hospital, Friday, February 5, 2010. Born in Charlottetown, PE, on September 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Gerald and Martha (Constable) Bowness. He was an avid sports enthusiast and had been involved with Riverview Minor Hockey and the Moncton Gagnon Beavers Junior "A" Hockey Club for over 20 years. He had been self-employed in sales for several years and was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Alan will be missed by his wife, Dianne (Davies), children; Gary (Glenda) of Charlottetown, Connie (Mark) Steeves of Edmonton and David of Moncton, sister; Donna Stange (Russ) and grandchildren; Thomas, Brodie, Jessica and Cory. The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Monday, February, 8, from 6 to 9 pm at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, (869-2007) with the funeral service to take place at Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 9 at 1:00 pm with Rev.
