FLIGHT, Effie– Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Effie Flight, age 74 years. Predeceased by her father and mother Adam and Lucy Flight, brother Herbert Flight. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shane Flight (Darlene), Penney Flight (Blake Pattison) and Michael Flight; daughter-in-law Sylvia Sparkes; grandchildren Rebecca and Liam Flight; sisters: Sadie Gover, Esther Newell, Bessie McDonald and Mildred Newell; special nephew Douglas Gover (Pauline) and their children: Jennifer and Joshua Gover; special friend Evelyn Flight; also many other family and friends. Also, a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for all their compassion and care during Mom’s stay with them.
