POMROY, Raymond Patrick (March 31, 1957– February 25, 2010)– Formerly of Merasheen. Passed away peacefully at the Health Science Center on February 25, 2010. Predeceased by his father Fergus (September 26, 1979) and brother Phonse, (November 14, 2005) Left to cherish his memory and celebrate the life of this very special man are his wife Monica, daughter Jessie, sons Ray and Nick, his "other son" Darrell, his mother Mary, and his brothers and sisters: Donnie (Tony Abbott), Loretta (Tom King), Jimmy (Donna), Danny (Darlene), Madeline (Dave Hickey), Francis, Chick (Sandra), Terry (Dora); sister-in-law Charmaine and 31 nephews and nieces. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia Friday, February 26, 2010 and Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 2 p.m.-9 p.m.. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Freshwater.
