Born in Pleasant Valley on July 5, 1921, daughter of the late Richard and Mary (MacLeod) Smith. Wife of the late Clarence Reeves. Mother of Marilyn Reeves, Breadalbane and Vicki (Eric) Proctor, Kensington. Grandmother of Jill Proctor, Andrew Proctor (Tara Tierney) and James Proctor. Great grandmother of Ben Proctor. Sister of Ruby (late Herb) Gill, Crapaud; Roy (Mary) Smith, South Granville; George (Dorothy) Smith; Pleasant Valley; Barbara (Robin) LaGrandure, Leduc AB; Evelyn (late Fenton) Mayne, Emerald and Laura Smith, Charlottetown. Sister-in-law of Velma (late Archie) Paynter. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Willa Smith; Mae (late John) MacLennan; brothers Gerald (late Georgie), Claude, Charlie and Ralph Smith and brothers-in-law Cecil (late Mae) Reeves and Arthur Reeves. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery Freetown.
