Peacefully at home on Sunday March 7, 2010, of Ira F. Reeves, Pleasant Street, Kensington, aged 75 years. Born in Burlington on June 23, 1934, son of the late Alfred and Clara (MacIntyre) Reeves. Brother of Muriel Stavert (Jim Wall), Indian River; Inez Wall (Ellsworth deceased), New Annan; Mildred Stewart (Cecil deceased), Kensington; Georgie (Barry) Bertram, Margate and his faithful pet and friend “Kitty”. Brother-in-law of Amy Reeves (Bruce Champion), Kensington; Minnie Reeves (Ernest Carr), Summerside and Graham (Linda) Chappell, Charlottetown. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Alma Chappell, brothers Vernon and Leaman Reeves, half-brother Daniel Buzzle (Lillian deceased), brothers-in-law George Champion, Walter Stavert, Ellsworth Bassett and Elmer Chappell. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
