"Everyone loved Granny -
There's no one else like her"

Our loving mom, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully in her daughter's arms on March 6, 2010 at the Marjorie Willoughby Hospice.

She leaves to mourn, daughter Sandi and son Dennis, grandchildren Randy and Sylvie Lloyd, Scott and Lindsay Vyse, and Dan Herman, as well as their spouses and children.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Stan and daughter, Patricia.

Phyllis was born in Melfort, Sask, but spent most of her life in Dawson Creek. She and her husband moved to Kamloops in 1989.

She was a great fan of speed skating and one of the founders of the Kamloops Long Blades. She was a coach for years in Dawson Creek, as well as an outdoor ice maker, executive member, and official. She touched many lives through sport.
Phyllis was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies' Auxiliary for 59 years.

Birthday parties and family get-togethers will never be the same without Granny's special wit and trademark gestures.

Her spirit lives on in all who loved her.
