It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Thomas Tapp Sr. of Cormack, announce his passing at the Interfaith Home in Corner Brook, NL on Sunday March, 7th, 2010, in his 76th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Jacklean Sheppard (Melvin) of Botwood, Marie Melanson (Gary) of Moncton, NB, Gary Tapp (Daisy) of Cormack, May Shears (Harry) and Delsey Maynard (Gerald) both of Fort McMurray, AB, Gerald Tapp (Marsha) of Deer Lake, Dianne Tapp (Steve Brown) of Fort McMurray, AB, Brenda Buck (Colin) of Shubenacadie, NS, Nobalee Tapp (Michael Payne) of Botwood, Bobbie Goosney (Dwight) of Three Mile Rock, and Laurie Trepanier (Francois) of Cold Lake, AB, 29 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, siblings: Anne Abbott (Harold), Lewis Tapp (Marie), Shirley Hull (Art), Walter Tapp, Eileen Power (George) and daughter-in-law Nona Noseworthy of Irishtown. John was predeceased by his parents: William and Dulcie Tapp, wife Mildred, son John Tapp Jr. and daughter Mildred Tapp, grandsons Justin and Ricky, his brothers: Harold, Gerald, William and Gordon and sister-in-law Barb Tapp. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from the hours of 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm today, Wednesday and Thursday from the Anglican Church in Cormack from where the funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 am with interment to follow at the family plot.
