Peacefully at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, Eldon, on Thursday, March 11, 2010, of Sterling F. Hackett of Mt. Albion, age 88 years. Veteran of Second World War.
Husband of the late Mary Margaret Hackett. Father of Sterling (Flora), Eddy, Ruth, Donnie, Darlene (Mike) Roy, and Blaine. Grandfather of Richard (Janet), Lorrianne and Nicole. Brother of Blair (predeceased) and Mildred Robertson. Brother–in-law of Erma Hackett and Wendall Robertson.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday from St. Andrews United Church, Vernon, at 11 a.m. Interment later in the church cemetery.
