1920 - 2010

On Tuesday, March 2, 2010, Clara, at the age of eighty-nine, passed peacefully in her sleep. As a wife, mother and friend she was a mentor, filled with wisdom and encouragement. Many will remember her for her sense of humor and the ability to laugh at life's many challenges.

Throughout the years, Clara together with her husband Harold, assisted with the development of the Anglemont area on Shuswap Lake and created two very successful businesses, one of which they managed until retirement. Clara loved to travel and immerse herself into the cultures of the countries she visited. One of her many talents was her creativity. She loved the warm earthy tones which were reflected in her homes and paintings. Several of her pictures decorate the walls of those she loved. She embraced life; and so, as we mourn our loss, we celebrate her life and wish her well as she undertakes a new adventure.

Clara will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debbie Mayberry; her daughter and son-in-law, Rae Ann and Brent O'Shea; four grandchildren, Jared (Sami) Mayberry, Evan Mayberry, Clayton (Tasha) O'Shea and Jason O'Shea, and three great grandchildren Kiara, Kaden and Mikhaila O'Shea.
