Charles I. Steeves, 92, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Pellerin St., Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Blanchard and Sadie Beryl (Randall) Steeves. Charles was a former farmer and retired from Co-Op Atlantic with 32 years service. He attended St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed farming, bus tours, working on his computer, socializing with his friends and enjoyed activities at Spencer Memorial Home. Charles will be sadly missed by his niece, Linda Weldon (Cecil), Lutes Mountain; cousin, John Lutes, Moncton; several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (Harbell) Steeves (Feb. 2009) and his sister, Ruth Colburne.
