The death occurred suddenly at his residence on Saturday March 13, 2010, at East Point Lighthouse of Harry Harris, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Mallard). Loving father of Richard (Isabel), Susan Campbell (Foster), Linda Harris Ford, David (Cathy), Michelle Harris, Marsha Kays (Mark) and Greg Harris (Kim). Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by sisters, Kaye Mullally and Betty Faubert (Gerry), brother, Billy (Anne) and sisters in law, Teresa Benduha, Renie Jarvis (Colin) and Shirley Somers. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Emma Harris, sisters, Adele, Ana, Shirley and two infant brothers. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Monday March 15, 2010, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Tuesday morning March 16, 2010 to St. Columba Roman Catholic Church in Fairfield for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to Heart and Lung Association.
