Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, March 13, 2010, Alice McGrath (nee McDonald) of Chapel’s Cove, formerly of Colliers, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband Bernard, son Bill, daughter-in-law Mary McGrath and son-in-law Gerry Carberry. Left with fond and loving memories, sons Bernard (Barbara), with whom she resided and Michael; one daughter Bride Carberry; and niece Mary McDonald, Holyrood; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also special friends Stephen Sheppard, Ignatius Walsh, Judy and Jeff Barker and life long friends Bev (Martin) and Casandra Walsh and Helen Conway. Her special companions, “Mindy, Farley and Maggie.” Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour. Visitation Sunday and Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers. Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
