The death of Sharon T. Perkins of Saint John, NB occurred on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on June 18, 1950, she was a daughter of Marie Perry and the late Lawrence Perry. Sharon was employed at Terry’s Hair Salon for many years; she then worked at the family store, Royal Convenience. Sharon loved spending time with her family, crafts and her special friend, her cat, Miss. Butterscotch. Sharon leaves behind her daughter, Stacey Price (Trevor); son, Tony Smith; mother, Marie Perry; sisters, Betty Adams (Frank) and Carol Winchester; brothers, George Perry (Sandra) and David Perry; granddaughters, Courtney, Marissa and Blaise; great granddaughter, Olivia, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Perry and her sister-in-law, French Perry.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from Brenan’s Chapel at 3:00 PM. Interment to take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
