LUNN, Roselyn Marie “Rosie” (Noftell) - It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Rosie Lunn devoted wife for 43 yrs of David A. Lunn of Latimore Lake Rd.; sadly announce her passing on March 15, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born 1943 in Saint John to the late Harold and Mabel (Lean) Noftell. Rosie was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a life long resident of Latimore Lake and volunteered at the Latimore Lake Community Center. Rosie was an avid gardener and enjoyed “entertaining” in her greenhouse. Besides her husband David, Rosie is survived by her two beloved sons David F. (Theresa) and Daryl (Karen) both of Saint John; one brother Douglas (Monique); four sisters Frances Bachiu, Carol Todd (Charles), Alma Beman (Robert) and Jody Beman (Fraser) all of Saint John; seven precious grandchildren Jennifer, Shawn, Travis, Trevor, Jared, Amanda and Dawn; several nieces, nephews, many friends and special friends Jerry and Mavis Wisted and Hollis and Shirley Brewster. Besides her parents, Rosie was predeceased by five brothers Harold, Ronald, Edward, Kenneth and Malcolm and two sisters Sandra Gordon and Alice Noftell.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). Memorial service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday March 18, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, reception to follow at Latimore Lake Community Center. Donations in Rosie’s memory can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the SJRH, Canadian Cancer Society or the Latimore Lake Community Center.
