Predeceased by his wife, Catherine MacIntyre. Proud father of Joe (Lisa), Jim (Nancy), Mary and Cathy (Duane Bayley). Beloved Papa/Grandpa of Ryan, Meaghan, Kyle, Alex, Brandon and Evan. Son of the late John Joseph Farrell and Sadie MacDonald of East Bay, N.S. Survived by siblings, Mike (Kay), Mary Blake (Gerald), Rita Briand (Peter), Effie Chipman (Bobby), Sally Sampson (Charles) and Joe (Carol). Predeceased by siblings, Danny (Angie), Theresa MacNeil (Johnny), Margie Curry (Bernie), Angus (Carmel), Annie MacIsaac (Sonny). Dad worked for Ford Motor Company in Oakville for 34 years retiring in December 1996. He greatly enjoyed his work as a Union Steward for Local 707 of the CAW. Dad was a big sports fan, baseball, football; hockey though was his favorite sport. He was a life long Toronto Maple Leafs fan and passed that burden on to his sons. Dad had a big heart, quick wit and loved a good laugh. He will be missed by many friends, extended family including nieces, nephews and especially by his four children, their spouses and his six grandchildren who loved him very much.
