Roger Richard, 63, of Shemogue passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton. Born March 10, 1947 in Petit Cap, he was the son of Rita (LeBlanc) Richard of Manoir de la Butte, Cap Pelé and the late Dosithée Richard. He was employed with Sea Coast Fishing & Supplies prior to his retirement.
Besides his mother, Roger will also be sadly missed by his loving wife of years, Thérèse (Richard) Richard, daughter Donna Richard of Moncton, four sisters: Pauline Richard (Gary Jacob) and Annette Jacob (Aris) both of Petit Cap, Mona Cameron (Mitchell) of Moncton, Anna Fagan (Dennis) of Calgary, AB; six brothers: Albert (Brenda) of Georgetown, PE, Donald (Becky), Danny (Cathy) and Brian (Josie) all of Shemogue, Ovila and Reginald both of Petit Cap; and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé. Interment in the parish cemetery. Family donations will be accepted.
The family wishes gives thanks to Dr. Sylvie Bourque and the staff of Oncology Dept. and the Palliative Unit of The Moncton Hospital for the excellent care given to Roger during his illness.
