BOUDREAU, Mary Elizabeth “Lizzieâ€- 93, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was born August 5, 1916 in Quinan, N.S., the daughter of the late Samuel and Laura (Doucette) Muise. She was married to the late Able Boudreau. She was an avid knitter and quilter; she also loved flowers of any and all kinds. She enjoyed travelling ‘down South’ and lived a very happy life. Lizzie was a well devoted wife and mother and raised many more—she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Geraldine (Jimmy) Jacquard, Mike (Cindy) Boudreau, Betty Anne Doucette, Therese (John) Doucette, Nora (Bob) Muise, Walter Boudreau, Lorena (Milton) Bourque, all of Wedgeport, Gertrude (George) MacAlpine, Port Maitland, Patrick (Annette) Boudreau, Raynardton, Bill (Shirley) Boureau, David (Nora) Boudreau, both of Hubbard’s Point, Laurianne (James) Frotten, Plymouth, Kathellen (Emile) Comeau, Meteghan, and Vincent (Paulina) Boudreau, Turo; sister, Georgina Morris, Yarmouth; 36 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by five younger brothers in infancy. There was visitation on Saturday from 4-9 and on Sunday 1-9 from the Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Wedgeport. Prayers at 8 on Saturday. The funeral mass was held at St. Michael’s Church in Wedgeport on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 11:00 A.M., Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. Internment followed in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Wedgeport. Arrangements were under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
