Slipping quietly into the arms of Jesus, Caroline Carey, age 91 years, passed peacefully away at her home on Monday, March 22, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence and sisters Mary and Madonna. Leaving to mourn their sad loss are her ten children: Isabelle (Lar Puddister), Thomas (Rosalind), Harry (Donna), Bridget (Raymond Doyle), Alban (Maria), Lawrence (Doreen), Ronnie (Denise), Anne (Ted Coady), Mary (Wilf Boland), Aloysuis (Carolyn), her thirty-two precious grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren. Also mourning their loss are her sister Florence in Arizona and sisters-in-law Mary (Edward O’Brien), Liz (Bernard); special friends Janet Lundrigan, Jack Carey, Johnny Carey; caregiver Martina Dinn and the Duff families in Topsail. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls from 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 25th. Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 26th at St. Patrick’s Church, Witless Bay. Internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay.
