1914 - 2010 - Shediac - Marcel Arsenault, 96, passed away peacefully at the Residence “O” Bons Soins on Saturday, March 27th, 2010. Born in Rogersville on January 14th, 1914, he was the son of the late Emilie (Bourgeois) and Mélème Arsenault. He will be sadly missed by his second wife, Marguerite (Bourgeois); his daughters, Claudette Arsenault (Louis Lirette), Florence Cormier (Clarence) and Bernice Ferron (Julien) all of Cocagne and Maria Nowlan (Lawrence) of Bouctouche, his sons, Yvon (Lucie) of Shediac, Raymond (Aldoria) of Cocagne and André (Denise) of Longueuil Qc.; his stepchildren, Isabelle Thomas(Armand) of Shediac, Odette Bourque and Pierre Bourque (Joanne), both of Moncton; also thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Marcel was predeceased by his first wife Bertha (Bourque); daughter Elizabeth; sisters Marie and Marguerite; brothers Richard, Alyre and Joseph.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, March 30th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm and Wednesday, March 31st from 9am until time of departure at 10:30 am. Funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Wednesday, March 31st, at 11am. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
