The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family and best friend, Cindy, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, March 13, 2009, of Dawn Davis, of Granville Street, Summerside, aged 43 years. Born in Burlington, Ont., she was the daughter of Clifford and Uriel (Chapman) Humphreys. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Mark (Joanne) Humphreys, Victoria, B.C., an uncle, Michael (Silvie) Chapman, Toronto, Ont., and her special companion and friend, Gazoo. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life Team - “The Hive Honeys”) would be appreciated.
